Tak jsem poptal několik dodavatelů a možná i výrobce(alepoň to o sobě tvrdí). Anglicky moc neumím, tak jsem si to přelouskal s pomocí strýčka google. Nemám ale odvahu sem dát svůj překlad.

Hello!
E85 needs reacher air-fuel mixture, +42% fuel to same quantity of air.
usually ECU can add (or dissolve) only +/- 25% by signals from lambda sensor.
if lambda correction range reached, but mixture is still lean, may be
some variants:
1. nothing happens, some ECUs can add up to +/- 50% without CE light
2. ECU will add 42%, but CE light will be turned on (lambda correction
range exceeded)
3. ECU will add only 25%, and turn on CE light.
if driveability on E85 is not worse than on gasoline, you have first variant.
but in winter you will have problems with cold start.
bioadapter will solve it, or you can add 30-50% of gasoline into E85.
installation of bioadapter may (but not obligatorily) reduce fuel
consumption, if your ECU has lambda correction range 25%, but if it
overreached, ECU add more %, do not turn on CE lamp, but working in
"fault" mode.
in this mode fuel economy becomes worse.
installation of bioadapter will turn lambda correction into correct
range and ECU will stop working in "fault" mode.
this is not obligatorily scenario, but sometimes it working with some ECUs.
how adapter works:
in GAS mode adapter don't do anything. input = output.
cold start enrichment not working too.
in Auto, E70 and E85 modes adapter additng %, entered for every mode
in service menu.
there is no difference between Auto, E70 and E85 modes, you can enter
any values into any mode.
about the 20% enrichment in Auto mode:
20 % is optimal value, becouse:
1. if we using E85, bioadapter will add 20%, ECU will add anopther 22
% and we will get needed +42% and will stay inside allowed lambda
correction range.
2. if we use gasoline, bioadapter will add 20%, and ECU will dissolve
this 20% automatically, and we will get correct mixture and will stay
inside allowed lambda correction range.
also, any mixtures of E85 and gasoline will be inside allowed lambda
correction range.
so, as you can see, all fuel-correction work in AUTO mode is done by
stock ECU, bioadapter just moving lambda correction range from
-25...+25% to -5...+45%.
